We hope you can join us for the next stakeholder meeting:
Tuesday
August 9, 2011
9:00am – 4:00 pm
We will start and end promptly!
RSVP to: Lisa Wallace at lwallace@truckeeriverwc.org
Goal:
Kris Boatner and Scott Conway will lead a tour of several areas marked for treatment according to the Proposed Action and associated perscriptions. Stakeholders will be able to see how the prescriptions have been applied by the marking crews and provide feedback to Kris and Scott.
This is an unusual opportunity and we strongly encourage you to attend to experience the on-the-ground application of the prescriptions defined in the Sagehen Collaborative Process.
Location:
We will meet at the Sagehen Turnoff at Highway 89North (if you need detailed directions, please reply and I will send them). Please park on the Sagehen Road. We will gather here and arrange carpooling.
Logistics:
The meeting will take place no matter the weather. Sun or rain (or snow) – the meeting will not be cancelled.
Please be sure to bring:
Your own lunch. We’re not providing lunch and there is not anywhere to buy lunch
Water
Layered clothing for cool to warm weather
Clothing that can get dirty – we’ll be walking in and amongst the marked areas
Very sturdy footwear – we will be walking on uneven ground
Hats, sunblock and whatever else you need to be comfortable to be outside in fairly rough conditions all day
RSVP:
Please RSVP so we can plan the route based on the estimated number of vehicles and people.
Thanks!
